Shawn, good points. It is possible to get the tube pretty clean by swabbing it out with lots of brake cleaner and rags. Fill it up and drive it a little, then check it again and refill. It's sure a lot less work to put seals on the ends of the tube! EZ

Yes Bobdog, the 5.7 is definitely a great candidate. There are a lot of significant differences between the 5.7 and the 5.3 however.........wiring, computer crapola, coils for each plug, etc. etc. (Plus the numbers are different, torque peaks in different places, etc.) EZ
