Sand Hollow area is full of any type you want. This year was my first time there so I can't really give you any good directions to a particular trail but I'm sure some of the St. George guys on here will chime in and be glad to show you around if they're not in Moab.

Nathan, I agree, the 4:1 wouldn't be necessary and I have a HD rear output shaft I could use. I would probably just want one for the front. I will have to modify both drivelines either way and don't really include that in the cost of the transfer case itself because it will have to change no...

This seems to be the common complaint. I was not aware of this complaint.

My Jeep is based off a YJ frame and Tub. I too, like the look of a CJ and had a good hood and grill. Made tube fenders and even a flat "CJ style" dash. I had fought reinforcing and repeatedly fixing a '73 CJ 5 frame. (even weaker than your '79) and at that point, the tub was not in very good...

What brand 4:1? Is it the short ('80) 300? (I have a HD output shaft for that version is why I'm wondering) Are you willing to sell separate from the 700R4 adapter? I probably should have checked out your craigslist ad before I asked all the questions. Either way, let me know.
