For how often you tow it might not be the worst deal to look at a 3/4 ton Gasser either. They are certainly less expensive used and the maintenance cost is a lot less.

Not that I can see. They seem to cycle smoothly and the fork seals don't even leak. It even looks like the front tire is okay and just lost air when the bead bent. But I'm not taking any chances and ordered a new tire anyway.
