What year is that? I'd recommend getting the right size frame even if it costs hundreds more. You wouldn't buy one size too small or too large of running shoe just because it was a good deal? Right?

That would be fun! but I'd need to remove all the racks, street legal stuff and get new dirt tires. And it would just be a real heavy dirtbike at that point and I've already got a dirtbike (or 7).

My saddlebags stay on the bike because I ride it more when it's useful. And it's useful when I can carry stuff. The sun faded them from beautiful black to like 1988 burgundy car interior. And they look like poo. So I cleaned them and then fabric painted them. I've used Duplicolor fabric paint...

I've only had a chance to do some shorter rides (maybe 15-20 miles but it feels SO much better than stock. I also added a rear rack that took some finagling to fit (poor fit up, probably warped while welding) luckily nothing a press and a bottle jack couldn't fix.

I added some low density 3/4" foam to the hole and covered it with a flat piece of plastic. My feeling was without it the foam "bulged" out the hole I'd created and could cause discomfort. I used some very short 1/2" screws to try first. If it works well I'll come back and rivet the piece in place.

Cut out the hump. I think this will help lots.
