That's where the lockers were in the axles I bought, but I started thinking a couple days ago that I should swap the detroit to the rear since it is a stronger locker.

Well, i got it all torn down, got the housing all cleaned and painted, and decided to order some 30 spline Longs. When I go to put back together should I fill the whole knuckle with grease or just the birf, I have heard of doing it either way? Also any tips on shimming the knuckles? Both...

Is there any special tools I will need. I know I need a brass drift and a small fish scale for measuring the resistance in the knuckles. Do I need a press for any of the bearings or anything like that?

Well that's the problem, i don't have a lot of time. I have a buyer for my other truck so that means I need to get my SAS done pretty quick.

I need to get my axle rebuilt so I can do my SAS, but I am not sure if I want to do it myself. I have the full rebuild kit-seals, bearings, etc. Just wondering if anyone knows any shops in the Ogden area that would do a good job for cheap?

I just picked up an Orbital from Checkers a few days ago for my Yota. They are supposed to be pretty comparable to Optima's but alot cheaper. Can't say how they do in the long run but at least my truck starts now:D

I am in the market for a 60-80 gallon compressor for my garage, and was just curious what brands people recommend, also where to buy from in the Ogden area?

Does anyone besides all-pro make a disc brake conversion kit for toy rear axles?? Or has anyone put together their own kit? I really want to convert mine to disc brakes but not sure if its worth $500 for the all-pro kit.
