I would be concerned if you upgraded the material on one gear, but not the one it mates with, you will have a problem. Now the OE piece is matted to a stronger/harder piece you will create wear and a greater possibility of breaking the OE piece.

Epidemic? Yes!! The worse thing is people crush it up and snort it. So they get a full dose instantly, rather then time released as it is meant to be.

It depends....
Cheap way (what I run) weld on brackets and chev frt calipers. BUT no ebrake. Can be used with cady calipers, but the $$ go way up.
Or you can use Tera or Currie's kit which uses a small drum brake inside the rotot hat for the ebarke. More money, but more or less a bolt on....

I have also had some crappy wire before....4 different people tried it before I through it away, but not before I did most of my 4 link brackets:(
Put a new spool in and it was back to normal.
