In that condition, it's worth it's weight in scrap. Maybe $150. If you have the time, and want the most out of it, selling off the parts will be the best way. You'll be hard pressed to find anyone looking for an entire truck shell.

If it's not easily visible, you might be able to sneak it past them. You'll have to route the blow-by somewhere so they won't smell it though, which my be a little tricky. I wonder if it wouldn't be easier to just fix it? A vacuum line, a check valve, and a breather line should be fairly easy...

I switched from the LJ to a JK 3 years ago. The only reason I switched was the 4 doors. This is hands down the best trail/street rig I've ever owned. A lift is pretty much mandatory with the long wheelbase, and with the auto trans having such a high final drive ratio (0.69) regearing is as well...

I have the tabs as well as a front receiver. If I were to build it again, I'd skip the tabs. I have the receiver, if I ever want to hook a strap to it. Plus, I have a winch so I doubt a strap will ever be hooked to the front anyways. The thing I hate about the tabs if having them stick out, and...

My last truck in that era was a 92 460/5 speed manual. I wouldn't really let the trans be a deciding factor, Ford was building a decent auto in those years. The 5 speed is a good trans too, but the clutch linkage under the dash is full of plastic bushings that will wear out and are a PITA to...

I don't get attached to my off roaders, but I must admit I do to other vehicles. My wife broke down into tears when I sold off my NAPCO, I didn't feel bad about it though. However, when I got rid of my 68 Vette, I wanted to cry. She was smiling ear to ear.

Just go down to SSS's remnant room. They'll have all that, and I'll bet it's $5 or less. When I go in for just a few pieces, every now and then they've been know to say "hell, just take it".
