Rings should be fine I think I only have 140,000 miles on the motor and have kept the oil changed since I have owned it. But who knows I will try the ccv replacement first. JeeperG

It has to be the CCV I found this in a google search. "This happens on vehicles when the PCV valve is stuck. Jeep does it differently. There is no "normal" PCV valve, Jeep has a CCV hose set that gets clogged. Don't try to clean it, buy a new one (it's cheap). Your Jeep dealer knows exactly...

Well I got the 2.5 not the 4.0 but yea so I will look at it tomarrow. Sounds like yea the ccv or whatever. Cause it is coming up from the top of the Valve cover and through the plastic tube and into my airbox. JeeperG

Yes Exactally OIL in the airbox and getting in my air filter. I take it that is the valve on top of my Valve cover. Thats where it seems to be coming from. JeeperG
