Did you replace the fuel filter ? Too bad I didn't know that you wanted a PCM since we were down in Moab over the weekend and I had my spare PCM in my jeep that you could have tried as an experiment.
My son's comanche started out life as a two wheel drive which he turned into a four wheel drive with a bunch of XJ parts. Since then we have added spring over in the rear, long arm suspension up front along with a narrowed F250 HP44. Its a great wheeler and will outclimb many rigs. My son is...
I have a 454 in the garage that came out of my Dad's truck, ran great when he pulled it. It had an oil change every 2-3K miles. It has been sitting in my garage under cover for a number of years. It has about 90K miles on it. I was saving it for a project but don't think I'll ever use it.
I have a color Humminbird with GPS and really like it, especially up at the Gorge where I can mark the positions where the big macks hang out. I have several spare black and white ones hanging around and they work fine too.
I bought a savage for my wife years ago but she never used it and it got sold. It was a nice gun and I should have kept it. My dad has one that I would love to inherit, its my grandpas pre 64 winchester model 70. It is in mint condition and deadly accurate. When grandpa went deer hunting (which...
I have a set of flat top Ford knuckles that came off of the 79 F250 HP 44 that I put under my son's Comanche if you could use those. I used the chev spindle, knuckles and rotors on his. On my Commando project I have the small Chev spindles, chevy knuckles, chev calipers and Ford hubs and rotors.
I was out at the Tear A Part (6th So & Redwood) yesterday and there were quite a few old Jeeps out there. Thought I would share some of the finds.

My scrambler satrted doing a similar thing on our last wheeling trip. My death wobble would kick in at 45 doing a right turn. I had rotated the tires and the right front wheel was the cause of the problem. I had to swap the spare onto the right front position to get it to stop.
Yeah it was an adventure and even with pump problems we had a great time. I have fixed the Scrambler already and just need to re-install the tank tonight so we can go on another adventure. The second pump failure was a loose ground connector on the pump. I thought I had crimped the connector...
Murdock basin, upper setting road, and Norway Flats out of Kamas. Strawberry ridge, and the Diamond Fork trails off of Spanish Fork Canyon. Duchesne ridge and trails going south to Heber, Strawberry and Current Creek are a few that we like.
Well I didn't think someone would get it that quick. It is also known as Jimson weed, thorn apple, prickly burr, moon flower, hell's bells, devil's weed, and devil's trumpet. The seeds and leaves are poisonous and are a powerful halucinegen.
Some more shots. We found some very large white flowers growing along the road. I know what they are do any of you ? There are several different names that it goes by.
We went down over the weekend to stay in my inlaw's summer home in Boulder and to do some trail rides. On Friday afternoon we drove down the Burr trail to the Wolverine Loop and drove out to the petrified forest. The road is supposed to be a very mellow gravel road but due to the many rainstorms...
