Cruiser Outfitters - A few good men...

We could use a few hands tomorrow for stripping siding and cleaning soot from said siding. Doesn't sound like we need 50, or even 15 people; but 2,3 or 5 would be more of a workable crew. Show up around 10, or shortly thereafter ready to work. 8859 South 1275 East Sandy, Utah 84094

    BEWARE! NEW FUEL COMING OUT!

Steve, Maverick is adventure's first stop.. Meaning, it's going to be an adventure to figure out why your car is no longer running in the middle of nowhere late at night. That's an adventure. ;)

    SAMI's Xterra "Stalker"

That's a loss of 1mpg on average. But I've been fighting a lot of wind in the last few days, so I expect it to fluctuate.

I definately like them, smooth and quiet compared to what I'm used to. I just tracked the first tank of fuel with these tires which got 15.8mpg's.

    Desert buggy idea

I'd run 2" receivers front/rear, and mount a inboard 2" receiver out of the way to store a winch in a portable tray.. That way you have more options for recovery. I can see it now, a buggy similar to the Wide Open buggies, with roofrack for extra storage.. Do it!

I'd go a different route than TG springs. In my experience they have a very short life; as in 1-2 years until they are sagging or bent.

Ah, well that's more understandable. I read something pelygroso wrote and thought he was talking about you doing dual 4.7's. That should be a decent setup for a vehicle that will see a mix of camping, backroads, and some Moab crawling. Cut the fenders out 2-3"s and stuff some 35"s, with good...

I think a 2.7 vs 3.4 is a tough debate as well. I went back and forth on each, as they both have an impressive pro list, and a very short con list.. It all comes down to what you would want as both are stellar power plants. I don't understand wanting the dual 4.7's, but regardless of that you...

FWIW, I had great results with my 22re, 5.29's, and 37's on 17 steel wheels (1st gen 4runner). I passed people with ease in average localized freeway traffic (I-15, 201, 215), and usually had the cruise control set at 75-80mph on open highway. Are you still planning on swapping a 3.4 into...

    HID Retrofitted HELLA Lights

I snagged up a few lights on this deal, but it seems a few guys dropped out of the group buy so the pricing for the 20 sets has been messed up. I think that they need 4-6 more sets spoken for to hit the 20 set pricing mark. Anways, thought I'd throw it on here in case anyone is interested in...
