Agree with both! I honestly have loved every stage of my kids (now 13, 16 & 18.) The way we interact changes, but still great and have loved it all.

Rounded up the extra bodies for the Flaming Gorge trip last week. Could not have asked for better November weather! Fishing was good- not great. Over two days members of the group landed about 6 Lakers in 20+ range, plus the largest burbot I have caught todate.
