The 77 front should be a d44. The 78 Blazer axles I have in the garage are d44/12 bolt. I too haven't had any luck selling the 12 bolt. I am going to use the d44 for my commando project however.

Just out of curiousity, when your axle articulates what will keep your springs from coming off the axle? It looks like the top of the spring may be tied down but I don't see anything for the bottom of the springs other than the bump stops. Will you be adding limitting straps to stop it from...

Well I was planning on doing the adapter for the TBI conversion on the Commando, maybe I'll have to machine out the center holes on the TBI manifold I picked up instead. I wonder why the sensors would have issues if the adapter is built correctly ?

Don't worry, driving it once with that lift was enough for me. It will all come off when I put the long arms on it.
