Your rig looks great. My cousin still has the Willys with the tj frame so the coil idea is gaining momentum. I will start tearing the rigs apart and finding the parts I need. I'll have to look into the Teralow for the d20 if I can sell off enough parts.

I was planning on using the GM th400 and swapping in the d20 output shaft from the Commando so I can use the 350 from the Blazer.

That's what I thought too. The th400 that came with it has the big cast adapter on the front that adapts it to the AMC 304. I'm guessing the th400 ia a buick pattern but I'm not sure.

I would just need to find a TJ frame so I can cut off all of the parts. My cousin has one with an old willys wagon on it that I may be able to talk him out of.

The bull nose is going away, I have some of the cj7 parts to swap on but need a few more.

On my son's 87 there is a plastic cover that goes over the electrical connection area on the wheel well behind the battery. Alot of the circuits get power from that area. Did you make sure all of the grounds were hooked up ?

Sounds like you are losing power for multiple circuits when it dies. I would check the main power connection terminals right behind the battery under the plastic cover. A good voltmeter test should tell you what is going on.

I like to fish all over the state but some of our favorites are Flaming Gorge where you can catch kokanie salmon, lake trout, bass, and several other species, and the Uintas. My son and I were up in the Uintas Friday and caught some really nice brookies just off the Mirror Lake Highway.
