help me decide which camera to buy

You'll love the camera Steve. If it will accept non-es lenses (the ones designed not specifically for the aps sensor size) then you can try a couple of mine...

help me decide which camera to buy

Still new to me so I haven't figured out how to operate it all that well, but compared to the ancient 10d that it replaced, it's amazing. 3x the resolution, better focusing, massive sd card (mine is 32 GB). I love that it will capture a raw image and a jpeg with size of my choosing for each...

    mineral basin, pittsburgh lake 8.2.12

After 50+ miles of washboard roads on skyline drive last weekend, I envy you... Dropping tire pressure in half helped a lot though My only complaint about the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift is that I think the springs are too stiff....

    soft tops in the winter?

When I was stealing stuff out of cars, I was always afraid to break the glass.... Just kidding. That is my impression though. My guess the best security I have for my Jeep is the garage door.

    soft tops in the winter?

Given that there is zero insulation in the hard-top, I wouldn't think there would be much difference at all. Unless you have a lot of air leaks.

Steve, I've been meaning to ask, who are you planning on using those seats? Planning to use them while wheeling or just trying to make the perfect drive in movie rig?

I've heard there were big spiders...

Spiders are nothin', wait till you have a scorpion drop down the neck of your shirt.. Actually happened to me. The stupid thing was crawling up the drapes on our back door by the breakfast bar when I leaned back on them and it fell. Did you know that they fluoresce green under ultra-violet light?

I've heard there were big spiders...

They're actually quite docile. Just really frickin huge and hairy.. I really prefer them to the small ones since they are pretty easy to spot

    Another welder thread

I ran through about 40' of 2" tube that I cut into pieces, welded, sliced, polished, etched, and junked before I felt confident to make the auto rotisserie for my brother. A whole bunch of the welds looked really good, but didn't penetrate. The flux core welds penetrated the best so that's what...
