Yeah. We took it on its first run down to grab some breakfast yesterday. Live within a few blocks of “Country Corner”.

    Volkswagen TDI talk

Our old TDI was grey and I swore it was invisible to other drivers. We had way too many close calls in that thing. I vowed I’d never buy another grey/silver car. It would be interesting to see if the insurance industry has any stats on car color vs accident rate.

Yeah. We used to go up Pritchett with Cj-5 and 7s on 31” tires. Trac-locs were an upgrade. Rich guys had a Detroit.

General Tech What did you work on Today?

Steep learning curve with the wheels on this $500 dump truck! The right rear wheel keeps locking up like something is wedged in the drum- even with the adjusters backed off. To get it off the trailer my wife hooked up her Willys w/Warn 8274 and tugged the axle backwards while I drove. Just as...

    Jeep 4xE and Wagoneer release

This is what most people miss^^^^ Excellent summary. I’ve been commuting in a Volt since 2015 because the cost per mile is low and my commute is 95 miles per day round trip. I’m able to charge at work most days, but if I can’t I just use gas that day to get home. Saves wear and tear on the...

Can you fit four 37” MTRs in a Chevy Volt? Why yes Virginia. Yes you can. Sorta Sorry Marc - no way the 38s were gonna fit. :)

How "true" to height are they? (Honestly not sure 37s isn't pushing it) I'd definitely like to take a look. Did I see some pictures of them on here somewhere?

Picked up a set of Methods today. I wasn’t sure how the 4.75” backspacing would work out, so I mounted a wheel up to the front. Clears all the steering and surprisingly doesn’t add more than 1/2” to the track width compared to the 5.5” wide steel wheels it has on it now. Now we just need to...

General Tech What did you work on Today?

My original plan was to just use the cab. Yesterday I tested the pto and hydraulics and it all works quite well. It is a Heil dump bed. So I’m undecided and a little torn on what I’m going to do with it. I really don’t need a dump truck, but it is kinda cool.

Five words I never thought I’d say; I bought a dump truck. Yes. A $500 dump truck. Last night I put fresh gas in it and found that the electric fuel pump the PO has installed would not pull fuel up to the carb. ( It’s mounted way too high above the tank) I decided to prime the pump and hose...

I honestly kinda feel sorry for Kevin when I’ve watched... he comes across as a good guy. She just grates on my nerves. Trying too hard maybe?

One of my two brains qualifies for sure. This one probably looks more useful.
