    What should I get

Glad you are willing to listen to the advice against a large lift. Not only does it hurt for rock crawling, but, in my opinion, tall trucks and high school students don't mix. I think we all remember how we drove as teens (on and off road). Compound that with a too-high center of gravity...

Exploring The Crookedest Railroad in the West

I like the historical info and photos along with your report. Fun reading.

    Dolores Traingle roads and access

I had read your trip report, and that is part of what got me thinking about hunting it. If I do draw out, I'll have to hit you about for details about the area (or of course you could come along).

    Chevy Suburban quad cab????

Kind cool, I guess. But why not just buy a crew-cab truck instead of making your own? Seems like a lot of work for something you just buy.

Who would you want to control Jeep?

Don't know how it will affect Jeep as far as products go, but it was announced yesterday the Chrysler and Fiat entered an agreement where they will share markets and technology (esp. using Fiat tech to help sell fuel effecient vehicle here and help sell Chrysler products-I would guess including...

    Dolores Traingle roads and access

Looking at the Big Game Proclamation, got me wondering about hunting the Dolores Triangle unit for deer. Boundaries are pretty straight forward: Grand County—Boundary begins at the Utah-Colorado state line and the Colorado River; south along this state line to the Dolores River; northwest...

    Stockton snow run

Those are some fun trails. Played in the mud up there a little when I first got Monty (don't really know why I haven't gone back). I miss the herd of bulls that wintered next to the church for a couple of winters, until they opened the new gravel pit.

    Anyone heard from Seth/Rocklogic Lately?

Glad it is helping. Small claims or other legal action certainly won't get far if you can't contact him. From all that has been posted, certainly do not see that anything short of legal action is going to do anything for the victims. If so, the sooner the better. If he enters into...

What's your favorite wheelin photo from 2008? Wheelin goal for 2009?

    Anyone heard from Seth/Rocklogic Lately?

Real question that needs to be answered: Have any of those affected, esp. if lost rigs or paid for parts, contacted police and/or lawyers? If not, typing all these post, including his personal info, is pointless finger excercise. The point has clearly been made about him, and if no one...

Who would you want to control Jeep?

After posting the poll I reaslized should have added VW to the list of choices.

What's your favorite wheelin photo from 2008? Wheelin goal for 2009?

Love some of Sami's photos. The black & white adds alot. Personally, don't think I have any great wheeling shots this year. Too little trail time (fixing that seems to be a common goal.) However, can't complain since I had my Nome, AK trip. That was enough fun to make up for what I missed.

Who would you want to control Jeep?

Those non-US Cruisers are SWEET! And the Subaru idea is interesting. At times they have had some pretty cool ideas (used to have an '04 Subaru with low range and adjustable suspension- 30 minutes with a wrench and gain an extra 1+" in GC.) Inovative, but have had a hard time marketing...

New/ Couple of Q's reguarding Land Rovers

I toyed with the idea of that very same Rover. Has been for sale for at least 2-3 months, so you may be able to get a much better price on it. I posted questions about it on a Rover forum, and feed back was that it should be very nice trail rig, well put together for a Rover. But I didn't...
