    having trouble

No, you need a cut-off wheel, not cut the wheel off. If you have access to an acetylene torch, that will work too. The secret is there's tapered washers around the studs. Some heat and some good hard licks with a hammer will pop em loose sometime. Otherwise, split the arm with a cut off wheel...

    to get inspected

You don't need a catylic converter to pass the safety portion, and since you don't have emission testing in the basin yet, you should be in the clear. A couple things to keep in mind though. Testing is headed your way, and you won't pass without it. Also, when you go to sell it, your truck is...

    Yet another LONG build thread

I looked at Chebby truck doors, and them sukas are huge! Well, compared to this one anyway. The S-10 Blazer door was another one that would have worked well, but I'm not sure how that round cut out would have gone with the square-ish body, and fitting the 72 filler neck into it would have been a...

    Yet another LONG build thread

Nah, nothing new to speak of..... I did cover the entire interior area with some redneck Ho-Depot sound deadener (AKA, duct insulation). Wow, what a difference! Been commuting in it when the weather permits. I have filled the gas tank a few times, and that lone Ford part works sweet! I was a...

What he said... Ya know, that stuff doesn't evaporate, right?? ;) And what's up with that battery? You're not running that POS out of FS-1 are you? I thought we burned all the remnants, but maybe that one sneaked through.

Personally, I like a little rubbing now and then.......... :eek2: (lets you know your suspension is actually working) There's an old saying from way back when a lot of us had "bug guards" :D . "If you aint rubbin, you aint wheelin".

    super technical bumpstop questions LOL

K.I.S.S. Just use a peice of 2" X (whatever you end up needing) peice of tubage, and be done with it. Then again, is a little rubbing really hurting anything?
