    Any Mtn Bikers on RME?

Rode North Canyon tonight. If you haven't ridden it, you should. It's the canyon south of Mueller Park and it connects to it via Rudy Flats at the top. Same terrain only never busy- because it's a 2.1 mile rough rocky 2 track to the singletrack trailhead. We saw 2 riders and 2 hikers in 6.6...

    Gravy's Prerunner build

Some cleanup. Made an aluminum steering column block off and fixed a broken wire so my speedo on the Racepak works now.

Ok guys. I need some some recommendations on pedals. Flats specifically. I have no need for clip-ons.

I love my Scott's; it's saved my bacon more than a few times. I've had one on my other bike for 3 years and a GPR on my one before it. This bike got one to try to take out some loose feeling (not quite headshake) I get on grooved concrete around 70mph. It's not like my 300 but I've gotten my...

Mbryson Daily’s driver project ‘91 MJ Comanche

I've got some soft 8 black steelies. You can come over and and try one on to see if more back spacing and a steel wheel clears.

    Any Mtn Bikers on RME?

Thanks for the reply. I was told by my local bike shop (Top Gear Bicycles) to get a 125mm drop. They set my suspension air pressure (as I don't have a loss-less pump) and sag at 30% This one I linked is 120mm. I think I won't notice 5mm less than ideal. The seat tube on my bike is straight and...

Well I bought a Scott's steering stabilizer mount but it didn't have the steering mount post. So I got to fab one. I'm digging my new TIG for little projects like this.

I like my 6.2 Ford a lot. 400+ miles to the tank. 6 speed auto. 395hp/ 400lb/ft. Factory E-locker. But not nearly the interior room for bikes or camping as Fred. Unless you got that service bed Rick has for sale. (Ignore all this and keep Fred and add a seat).

I got that Diamondback. Flame on ;) It ticked all the boxes you guys told me to check and I didn't overspend. It's a $1500+ bike that to my best observations was bought by a road biker to trail ride with her BF and really never rode more than a couple times. I'm very pleased! The bike felt...

Do most recent full suspension bikes have lockouts? Can I add a dropper post to most bikes?

All new car seats have safety straps now but all car seats can mount very safely with stock seatbelts only. (I often use both). Many automotive seats have the mounts in them, many have cargo hooks you mount the safety straps to. The hooks are nothing more than cargo hooks of a particular shape...

I tend to think sometimes the easiest solution is the best. You already have Fred: Why not a factory bucket seat in the back by the door? They definitely made them. You're definitely going to have your work cut out for you on convincing her to do something custom, Tess is very smart. If it...

Two observations from another young(ish lol) father: Car seats are huge. Once they are almost two- they get even bigger. I was basically forced to get rid of my supercab to upgrade to a crew cab for this reason. Is there any prohibitive reason why you wouldn't want to add a single seat to the...
