Kevin, are you pushing or pulling? I've found it's easier to control my heat pushing with flux core. Make sure your stick out is consistent. Make sure your torch angle is good and consistent as well. If you're blowing holes either speed up travel or wire speed.

Those boots look awesome! I almost bought those too, but found some Forma Predators on clearance. I couldn't trust my worn out Tech 5s after my toes got broken. No idea why it's rusting fast. Maybe try the other lube?

I buy and sell dozens of older dirt bike parts on eBay and have had nothing but good experiences. Definitely have to do your due diligence though researching the parts and looking very carefully at photos and descriptions or you could get hosed.

Exactly. 2.5L 4 cylinders and some early 4.0L 6 cylinders have 21 spline inputs. Later 4.0 "usually" are 23 spline. In addition: every single transmission offered had a different input shaft length. Aw4, nv3550, ax5, ax15, nsg370, etc... Some can but cut shorter but none can be cut longer...

Mike, if you specify what input shaft spline you want and length: it'll help you get the right one you want easier without having to swap an input.
