I think the general point is don't make new routes- call them bypasses, alternates or what ever. Goes for a hard rock section or a mud puddle- stay on the trails.

If we can agree on the list (I still like the "trail" acromyn a few posts back) and could 1) get window/bumper stickers and 2) get permission to post signs from BLM/Forest Service it would be a good idea. Tread Lightly is a good campaign, but needs to be more specific.

The 265/75 15 yours came with is about as tall or a little taller (about 30.6" on most brands) than the 255/70 16 I have. Going upto a 265/75 16 puts about another inch (different tires are listed between 31.5-31.7"), looks like it should clear without any modifications. Will have to try it...
