I had a couple bodies that a friend painted that looked cool and you could still see through it....sort of like a tinted window. Experiment with some scrap pieces and some different paints.

Just put a light coat of paint on the inside....Like we used to do on the RC car bodies. I think it is TK1 here that still paints RC's. Maybe he has some paint reccomendations. I know we used to just use thinned automotive type paint....
