2005 125cc I wanted an Aluminum frame bike.

Busted knuckles from the tamarac trees. I was maybe 5 or so minutes behind Ty and Chad at the end of lap 2 but elected to wait to be lapped to finish. I was feeling lousy. Dehydration and heat stroke got me and Im glad I waited. I still ended up 2nd behind Tyson.

I saw lots of people pulled off, wrecked and busted bikes. Stac saw a guy at the ambulance who got into some barbed wire fence and was a mess. I'll let the other guys report for themselves. But for me, it was really hard.

Well I sucked at that race. Kinda. Got worn out bad the last 12 miles and pushed though. And I paid for it. Big time. Who else has a couple bloody knuckles?

The problem will be ride ability around power valve openings. Either the power valve would need to be electonically controlled and tie into the fueling or the fueling will need to read powervalve position somehow (like vacuum perhaps). I saw pics of the bike from the Horn of Africa race.

You don't need to setup gears. Just new bearings. Use the same brand and they "should" have the same width.

You need to stuff a rag or something between the ring gear and the housing so you can get more drag on the ring. (You want a lot, like you can barely turn it). (the pattern now is inconsistent from one tooth to the next, You'll expect to see a similar pattern on 3 or more teeth). AND...

These fork springs are tiny (well compared to what I'm used to). Forks out No 14mm Allen, so 3/8" SS bolt with nuts Preload spacer, washer, spring New vs. Old (no more preload spacer). 133mm 10w fork oil. Cleaned and greased the headset bearings. It feels firmer. Hope...
