    Who Sells Ramsey Parts?

The old Ramsey finally gave up on me today. Opened it up, and discovered I need a new set of brushes and springs. I also learned, I really need to quit submerging the thing, but that's another story. Anyways, who locally might have a brush and spring set for a Pro Plus 9000?

    Weld on Bead locks?

What a timely question, since I run these wheels and have been all day swapping tires. It's a total nightmare to get the tires on, but it IS possible. What's harder though (ok, nearly impossible), is getting the tire back off without ripping a bead apart. If you dont NEED the beadlocks, I...

    Tie downs / Ratchet Straps

Rocky Mountains have about 10" of chain, and grab hooks with frame attachment hook, and are DOT certified. All of which, you're paying a premium for. That sight is awsome! The first hooks shown, for $16 and change are what I run... I'd snag four of them, a couple HF chains, and two binders...

    Tie downs / Ratchet Straps

If you've got the binders already, go hit Harbor Freight for some chain.... You cant afford Rocky Mountains throw hooks, but I do love mine... :D Get the chains, maybe you'll stumble across some hooks later.

    South of Five Mile Pass???

Kurt, do you know the staus of the hill just south of the 5MP parking lot (across the road)? There's a fun trail in there that I did a few years back, but I hear that area is all off limits so I've never vetured in there again, even though the ATV's seem to use the hell out of it. You got the...

    Switch Panel

I think I started needing 4 or 5 in my Jeep, so I installed 10 in a similar set up. After a few years of wheeling, all 10 were in use when I sold it. Think about some day having E or air lockers, on board air, and such and those switches will be used in a hurry. Dont skimp on switches...

What's a good length for a car hauler?

Anything 16' and up will work fine, and dont forget the brakes. The width can be an issue, unless you dont mind doing a little fender squishing. :D Keep that in mind, if you're running full width.

    American engine X change

You could easily get those numbers out of a small block Chev or Ford for a ton less cash. I'm kinda courious on your engine choices, you seem to be looking from one extreme to another. Is there a reason you're dead set on that 440?

Chevy 350 (tell me it isn't true.)

Wow, guess I'm the dummy here.... Your PCV should go directly into the intake manifold, and not the carb. Hook it it to the "big" connection on the carb if you have too, otherwise directly to the manifold...... Also, a cylinder leak down test will tell you far more then a simple compression test.

    How to transfer my favorites??

When I have to change (damn IT guys anyways), I just e mail em to myself, then retrieve em with the new puter.

    good tires???

My kid ran em on her XJ. They were the howlinest (is that a real word?) tire I've ever heard. 4WP did the mount and balance, then rebalanced them about monthly after that. Never could get them to balance correctly.
