    let's talk about 4-links

Again personal preferance. Uppers more angle than lowers=roll steer, Lowers more angle=roll anti-steer. I angled my lowers slightly more to produce a slight amount of anti-steer...Theory is that on a side hill the forces will conteract each other and try to level the vehicle, or at least...

Those aren't modified tera arms!! They are custom machined arms, from a local shop....Not the Tiawan import tera stuff.... But I still don't like it, even though B's have held up, just conceptually wrong to me....

Tera does it, but I have never liked the ide of suspension twisting on thread. Thread stretches/wears. Then we introduce dirt/water/torque/etc to the twisting thread....Asking for problems....JMHO I think you would be very suprised with the amount of twist you would get from the stock type...

    let's talk about 4-links

Trying to reply at the same time, but it got lost in cyberspace.... Yep, just ended up right about there, so 48 it was. I know of a couple people/places working on LARGE joints. As for a trac bar, yes it will bind, but if done well, should not bind within the range of useable travel...

    let's talk about 4-links

I can post some pics on Monday, they are on the work computer. As for length, it was the longest I could fit, I wanted the extra length to decrease the angle. Lowers converge at the tcase, level with the bottom of the frame. The upper is only a few inches under my seat! I want to try...

    let's talk about 4-links

Punk, I like the way you think. Pretty much the way I went. I am VERY happy with how it works. I have not done the math, but I am near or slightly over 100%. There is no desernable squat or lift in mine. All 4 links are 48", parallel, about 10" of separation, slighty more convegence angle on the...

    Corbeau seats

I run the PRP's, love em. Like the Beards and Mastercrafts too. My experience is that the material covers of the Corbeua's is no as durable, but never run them myself.

69 Bronco 3 spd AOD Conversion

The lokar shifter is not easy to mnt on a EB. I have done a couple on C4's royal PIA. If you can, return it and get an Art Carr or a cheapy floor mnt Mr. gasket shifter. Anything cable will be much easier to mnt. The Lokar can work, but some custom mods would be needed. Not sure about the down...

    gear/bearing puller

Very worth it!! If you do more than a couple sets of gears it is the tool to have. Clam shells ruin bearings sometimes, never had a problem with the Randys style one.

    gear/bearing puller

It's this shinizzllle (Bspeak) Best thing out there for carrier bearings. I found one other place that had it, but it was the same $$, rather give Randy the $$. Otherwise just get a clam shell style, the work ok. 3Jaw pullers don't work well for carrier bearings.

Tow Rig Talk... Dodge Cummins - More power?

All I can say is Suka has scared the hell out of me. I have seen the speedo barried for long periods of time with the jeep in tow. I was just over 3 hrs driving home this time too. Only buried the speedo a couple times....need a down pipe to cool the egts.... Marc

    8 lug, 35 spline 9" shafts

I know of a few people that have tried the 35 spline in a small case thing....non with any success. Seems the smaller bearing has trouble with the load and generates a lot of heat, causing bearing failure, or breaking the bearing land off the carrier. By the stange or stay stock and just do 33...

    Fuel Injection

Projection can work well if you do a few tricks and play with it a little. I finally got mine DIALED. I got mine cheap from a friend who was tired of trying to make it work. BUT, if I had the $$ I would use the Howell TBI. Easy, idiot proof, reliable, and reasonable $$. For bigger motors they...

    8 lug, 35 spline 9" shafts

Thats the case I have. You need the case (drop in), carrier/pinion bearings, diff/spool, pinion support (get the nascar one). You can go with the 35 spline pinion gearset, and 40 spline shafts, not sure $$ but should not be much more than 35spline axles and regular gear set. Make sure you...

    8 lug, 35 spline 9" shafts

Not all nodulars are 3.25. You can use your pinion support, but I would up grade. You can use you gears too. (can upgrade to 35 spline pinion set). Either detroit or spool, if you are going spool, just do 40 splines, same prices, but no detroit option. OR you can do 33 spline spool/mini spool...

    8 lug, 35 spline 9" shafts

Yep, very bad idea to do 35 spline in anything but a 3.25" carrier bearing drop in. People have done it, but you end up with small diameter bearings and/or thin bearing lands on the carrier. Asking for breakage. Any axle maker should be able to do an 8 lug shaft for you. I suggest Currie...
