suka---- your thoughts on the IROK

From the rope side of Blacky, they were the stickiest tires I have seen, at least as sticky as the BFG's. The side walls were stiff at first, but we took care of that. Much better than the SSR's IMHO. They are super soft though and would not fair well on the road, after only a few burns on the...

    Hick man

That tube goes into the frame aout 10". It has a little bend in it, combined with the bend in the frame, it wedges between the top insideand bottom inside of the frame rail, a couple of gussets inside the frame, and then a plate to cap it off..... I like to over build and screww with people...

Andys is very similar to what we did on B's and mine. But on mine I inserted the tube into the frame (wedged) and built cap plates around the tube.

We should have a nieghborhood party. It already looks like a Moab parking lot around here (trailers, rigs, towrigs, etc). Holmer lives in the other side of the duplex now.

    scary tow rig

It is just a big x/z/t/J frt suspension sort of thing. Pretty much any thing that we have discussed about DW in the past on those vehicles, applys here. Personal experience say check ALL ends (tierod/dlink/tbar/c-arms) if there is play, replace them. Next ball Joints and wheel bearings. And...

4 link or 63 inch chevy springs?

on a DD and especially a uni-frame/body, I would use big rubber bushings. Less noise and better ride. I used heims, but probably would only use the on the axle end in the future. If I link my wifes XJ, I will use frt/lowwer stock style bushings. The POR threads have a lot of good info...

4 link or 63 inch chevy springs?

You can build the 4 link to counteract the bodyroll on the side hill.... Do some research before you attempt a 4 link on your own. Tons of variables, and nothing is IDEAL!!!!!!!!
