Hubs. I like to be able to unlock them. If it was a comp only, I might think about slugs. Thats the biggest reason I don't want to cut down chev, they end up short on spline for hubs.

Pretty much indestrucable, but you won't get there very fast. Torque from hell, low gears and a low rpm motor. But it will pull your jeep and 50 screaming school girls, straight up a wall. I have seen the pics of the rig, it is very cool, I have thought about doing something similar for many years.

Got mine in Vegas for $1200. Open center, brakes on one axle, I think he may have raised them to $1400 now. Marc

Problem with a 9" is there is no provision for a tone ring on the carrier, and even with machine work, there is case interferance. I would suggest either having currie work their magic (35 spline/spool/thick tubes/truss) on the 8.8 or build a 60. Charles at RMA could but 9" bearing...
