    Jeep t-5 help

    Clutch has about 1/2 inch freeplay. I drained out a qt and put in a lucas oil additive helped a little. I guess i will pull tranny tommorw night. Just a lot to do moab is three weeks away. I also wonder if i nicked the pilot bushing going in but at the same time wouldnt that cause it to grind...

    Jeep t-5 help

    Just installed a used t-5 that was in good working order(i drove it and it shifted great) now i am grinding gears 2-3 shift and 3-4 shift. I filled the trans up with royal purple syncromax. Is it syncros or just what?

    Fab Shops

    Mt. Logan does a sweet job. There is a magazine on stands now that shows a H3 that they put coilovers and i think tera 60's underneath. Sorry don't remember the name of the mag. Give Jon or Nate a call.

    CJ-7 Suspension ?

    Sounds like skyjacker is the favorite. I havent looked at the BDS kits yet. Thanks for the advice. Now I just have to spend half a day and cut that body lift from the tub. Anybody got a good set of 33" tires they need to get rid of. My Bfg's are pretty much gone.

    Clutch

    Luk makes a good clutch. Found in alot of OEM's. Centerforce makes some high dollar stuff. Stay away from the "life time warranty" junk that you get from discount parts stores. There is a lot more to consider than just the price of surfacing your flywheel verses buying one from a parts store.
