I cant think of anything that is similar to your 30. I would say 14 bolt cheap. easy to set up, super strong. Shave the bottom for clearance. Ford 9" is also cheap and plentiful. With the right amount of money can be a killer axle. Super low pinion angle and the stock dropouts just are not that...

Would cold gear oil have anything to do with engagement?

Would a cold diff have any affect on the engagement? (Thick gear oil)

I have heard that most problems with the arb stem from install or contamiation in the diff fluid. I didnt think about the solonoid being the problem make sense though. I can't complain though I was pretty much paid to run arb's front and rear

Im guessing the diff needs to be pulled to do any service work.

My rear air locker is sometimes had to get to engage all the time. Sometimes when I first engage the locker the air compessor will cycle a lot. After I switch it on a couple of times it seems to be fully engaged because the air compressor quits cycling every ten seconds. What inside that diff...

It is a a six cylinder. I have the brackets but on the intake and the block they have bosses cast into the newer stuff to mount the bracket to. The old stuff does not have the the bosses. just wondering if any body else had run into the same problem

I am in the process of doing this swap. I have pulled all of the parts from a 83 cj-7 the box is mounted to the frame but I need to figure out how to mount the pump.

I need to paint my hardtop. Is there any thing special about the fiberglass that I need to be aware of? The fiber glass is fairly porous so I think about all I need to do is scuff it and spray? Any special paint?
