It was a WR250X. Basically the same bike with wide 17" wheels F&R instead of the 21/18 of the R.

I usually just use a screwdriver/pry bar.

I think about that "quick after work" ride on the GWT from Provo Canyon to Hobble Creek Canyon often. Generally not with a lot of fondness... but it was definitely an adventure. Who doesn't want to leave on a ride right after work on one of the longest days of the year that we thought should...
