My son is in the Rangers program at his high school in Layton (northridge), and got the opportunity to take a ride in a refueler a few weeks back. KC10?? He now knows what he wants to do in the AF.;)
Pretty sure you have to order through their website, that what I did. I order the 6 pack of 4 ounce cans. Apparently once you open it you have to use it up, so I went with the smaller ones.
I just did a whole bunch off research on it and POR-15. I ended up going with the rust bullet due to the fact that it is uv stable and doesn't need a topcoat to keep thesun off it. I haven't done anything with it yet, but will post up once I do.
Meh...I towed for many years with the same truck, only a '94. I went to Moab and Powell more times than you can count and just lived with it. I love that truck ( I still have it, waiting for a transplant). Of course, I had never owned a diesel before, so I didn't know how nice that would be...
It's cool. Sometimes it gets kinda lonely, but I usually have one of my dogs with me. I really enjoy the peace and quiet when I shut down the machine for a break.
I've got a couple vids that I tried to take while running the machine, but they don't turn out too well. I need someone to suit up in armor and come take some vids while I work.
A couple more...my boss with the first elk shed of the year. I have camp set up at an abandoned USFS station that has been turned into a summer camp. A couple more of the car, I assume that this is the motor out of it. I think that the original inhabitants used the motor to pump water up from...
Chaining is a PITA, for us anyway. The last several jobs we've worked have been jobs that were chained between 30-50 years ago. We still have to deal with the old carcasses while we're grinding the new growth. The forest service wants them gone, so we gotta hit them too.
Yeah, it's sitting on a private ranch about 20 miles off the beaten path. Just wasting away, I'm thinking of hitting up the rancher to let me haul it outa there. That's the next job we're gonna be on, so all those trees around it will be gone.
What timer do you have? I'm willing to bet that you have several programs installed in it, and they are all watering. You need to zero out all the programs except "A". Alot of people mistakenly program them like this.
Sweet man, I had an '81 XR500 back in the day. Awesome bike. Traded it in for a brand new '86 XR600. Can't really help you out, but it sure brings back the memories.
