    Shakedown run in AZ

I have dreaded pulling that efi off the 3.0 for a long time. In the end, it really wasn't that big of a deal. We had it off and reassembled 3 times in 2 days...:D I wish I wasted so much time with it sitting. Good times to come.

    Shakedown run in AZ

I brought the Toy down to Arizona last week to get it up and running again. My boss and I spent a couple days tearing into the efi, as the old fuel had things gummed up pretty bad. We removed the bed in preparation of a new design we are working on. We got it running like a champ, so we decided...

    Need some shafts

I took the rig out yesterday, after wrenching on the fel injection all weekend. There's an area out here in AZ alot like Little Moab, but much bigger. Anyway, the truck ran great, and it was good to get behind the wheel again. Got into a wedgie type crack, and got bound up on the front end...

    New carry pistol

It shoots real nice. Haven't put any on paper yet, will probably do that this weekend. Where I am working there is a ton of rat nests in the trees, so I hit their nests with the grinder, then sit back and wait for them to come out if they survived the initial hit. They pop up and "boom".

Aux. tank is for work, but it'd nice going from utah to arizona. You find the cheapest diesel, and buy enough for the entire trip.

    First Steak

Sounds like you cooked it all the way through from the first side.:p Change your title to "First Jerky" and I think you have a winner.

    First Steak

I usually go medium heat, maybe a touch lower. The thing with a steak is you only want to turn it once. If you flip it back and forth, they get tough. On a preheated grill, about 5-7 minutes per side should get you in the medium rare range. I usually time it by visually inspecting the meat.

    New carry pistol

I'll let you know how it shoots tomorrow, I didn't actually get a chance to shoot it yet. I picked it up in SLC, and then left for Arizona. I will go try it out after work. That's why I didn't get along with the Ruger, couldn't hit a damn thing with it. I have shot XDs before, just not a .40...

    New carry pistol

I finally replaced the Ruger P89DC that I sold to a board member a couple years back. I went with the Springfield Arms XD subcompact in .40. I'm really liking the size and feel of this one...

The UTV Rally is the 11th through the 15th, so we are going down the week prior to that for some full size wheeling, then guide for the rally.

It's got fuel pump issues, the Ford would've made it further.:p It's going to go under the knife and get some pretty big alterations. I'm not saying what they are yet, as I don't know how much time I have for them. Plans may get simplified.

My rig in Moab. It didn't come off the trailer, I was just passing through on my way back to AZ. I have some work to do on it before I head to Moab for a couple weeks in May.

    Car audio question

I would say that unless its doing it all thetime, your speakers are fine. I've had bad luck with the cassette adapers, always getting some kind of distortion. If your stereo doesn't have an aux port in the front, it may have one in the rear that you could plumb into for an mp3/ipod.

Thought this was worth sharing; Working on the RR

Ive been on a few locomotives where the cow catcher would hit the leading edge of the concrete at a crossing. It gets your attention real quick when you tag one at 50-60mph.

They look like they are made of aluminum? If so, just strip and polish them.
