    Snakes Jan 9th

We've had a stock Toyota Pickup run snakes with no problems. My Cruiser can pretty much walk through it with 33's and a rear locker. And functioning 4WD. :squint:

Longfields are a no-go. Chromoly (sp?) is great, but it's a full-time 4WD rig, and longs don't last long with that setup... Yeah, I got a rear locker.

    Title transfer questions...

That's the idea... But then what? Do I have to re-register it and pay all the new owner taxes and such?

    Title transfer questions...

For Christmas, my dad decided to sign the Cruiser over to me. Yes! Anyway, the title has been lost for some time, so we filled out an application for a duplicate title. My name is in the "New Owner" section :greg: I'm curious as to what needs to be done now... Go to the DMV and get new title...

    new mini-crawler

-Mods, if this isn't in the right section, feel free to move it- I don't know how many of you guys are into RC rock crawling, so I thought I'd share some pics of my new toy (and near immediate modifications to it :greg:). It's a Losi Mini crawler, 1:24 scale. I wasn't a huge fan of the...

Official Let's see your Backcountry 4x4!

I'm using twin MF-1050 compressors, you know the ones Checker had a major sale on a couple years ago. I can't remember how much air they put out, though. Enough to fill a 5-gallon air tank in two minutes.

    Stupid Drivers

On a side note, in the spirit of the thread.... About a year ago, driving along at 35 MPH minding my own business, the chick in the 4Runner in front of me decided to pull a u-turn. She pulled off to the shoulder, and without missing a beat, continues to pull directly in front of me! Didn't even...

    Stupid Drivers

Even with full-time 4wd, I try to take it easy on snowy roads. Not 20 under, but a bit slower than normal and really early braking. FT 4wd handles snow a lot better than conventional Rwd, but I have no ABS, and 6000 pounds of Toyota tank isn't what you'd call easy to stop in slippery conditions...

Best 4x4 / daily driver! Opinions wanted

IMO, the best DD/weekend warrior would be any 1980's-90's Toyota truck. Hilux, Taco, Runner, Cruiser, what have you. Obviously my opinion is biased, so take it with a grain of salt. ;) Gonna ignore the chat above...
