How bad is it for you exhaust to touch your oil pan. I know heating up your oil probably wont give you better performance but is it that big of a deal? I have a 89 chomanche and the exhaust rest on the oil pan. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Im trying to get some new brake pads and calipers for a dana 44 out of a 77f-150 i think! i just bought it and the owner had swithched everything to chevy stuff from the knukle out.And i was wondering if the caliper braket on this 44 and a 3/4 chevy caliper bracket are the same?

found some lockers on line for my 9inch most are 31 spline but for street rods will they fit my 9inch out of a 79 f150?arent all 31 spline big bearing?thanks for the help.

stupid question just wanted to make sure im right. If im right the only difference between a 9inch out of a 2wd f150 and the 4wd f150 is the splines right. 28 on one and 31 on the other. Am i right or not please let me know. Thanks
