Makes sense but it's still crazy. I suppose you could sell most of your stock stuff and make a decent amount of money but if that stuff isn't breaking it's no big deal. I guess the real test will be when you get those big, heavy. 37" treps on there

Very true hopefully I'll upgrade shafts by that point as well, for the most part I still feel my wheeling style can withstand 37's on a stock D44...unless I do something dumb like try to run rattlesnake in 2wd...and why would I do a silly thing like that?...again.

Well the next mod is set thanks to our wonderful friends over at Teraflex I've won a big brake kit as well as a set of speed bumps. Really looking forward to going even faster in the dirt.

That is awesome, congrats on winning! Glad it was someone from RME and even better, someone that will use those parts well!

Front speed bumps and big brakes installed.

It was stupid easy thanks to the great instructions and videos provided by Teraflex.

On to the rear speed bumps tomorrow which will be more in depth since Joe at Teraflex customized my winnings to include their pre-runner rear speed bumps which are the same as the front only you have to cut the frame and french the mount tube in the frame to get them in the right place.

Looks legit

The brakes feel legit too. I've too many beers to go for a test drive but in the driveway in 4-lo I can actually tell I'm slowing down when I push the brakes, still not enough to stall it out but a big improvement. Before if I stood on the brakes in 1st gear 4-lo it did nothing.

It's hard to believe it's been two years since I picked this baby up. Looking forward to quite a few more good years with Jolene.

So the speed bumps are awesome...nothing else to say other than awesome.

Some of you already know this but I broke an axle shaft today which blew apart my u-joint which also took out my ball joints on my driver side.

KSL came through and I just picked up a complete driver side axle shaft that is in great shape so I'll order me some ball joints and axle seals and get this thing back together soon.

I want to upgrade the front end so bad but with a baby due in February any expensive upgrades are just not in the picture right now. If I'm lucky I'll still make WOTR.
