this is my love of my life, my 94 wrangler, it has been good to me been many places seen lots of trails and trials and overcame all of them with it. sadly though it must go to make room for a new project. here are some details on it:
Drivetrain:
2.5L motor, runs strong!
AX5 transmission, never have had an issue with it. clutch was replaced last year and master and slave cylinder 2 years ago.
doubled up dual transfer cases, the front is the planetary gears and housing from a np231 with a 2.72-1 ratio, the rear t-case is a dana 300 with fresh gears, bearings, custom twin sticks that make it front dig capable, 1310 drivelines, rear is a cv while the front is a custom long travel shaft with tom woods heavy duty u-joints.
Axles:
Front is a 77 Dodge Dana 60 Kingpin loaded with 5.88 Yukon Gears on a Dura solid Chromolly Spool. the cover is a bluetorch fab 3/8" ring with 1/4" for the cover.
Rear axle is a 1996 Dodge Dana HD60, its a thicker housing 60 that uses 70 spindles. its equipped with a welded rear cage and spiders. cage was bought from complete offroad along with the spiders and center pin, also has custom disc brakes with near new pads. the cover is a bluetorch fab 3/8" ring with 1/4" for the cover. will either have 35 spline shafts and a new spool or it will just come with the shafts out of the axle.
Tires and Rims:
Tires are a set of 42x14 on 17X9 procomp wheels. round 85-90% tread still. light rock rash and rubs. rims have some scratches and little dings. spare tire is a 40 MTR on matching rim.
Suspension:
Suspension in the front consists of Rubicon express two inch leafs with a customized mountain offroad enterprise shackle reversal kit to fit the D60 under it. shocks are just some plain janes. front end is pushed 2" forward.
Rear is setup using a pair of 94 Cherokee leafs with a 1.5" add-a-leaf which along with the custom spring perches has given the jeep a 9 1/2" stretch in the rear. shocks are Billstein 5150's with reservoirs
Steering:
Steering is made up Trail gear and PSC components. the Ram on front is a trail gear double ended ram 8" stroke very securely mounted to the axle, the orbital valve was also purchased from trail gear as well. the pump is from PSC, its their high volume 1600PSI pump setup with their 1" smaller pulley. the system does have a filter inside the PSC Resivore. system is also ran through a giant cooler in the grill infront of a 16" electric fan hooked to the radiator. steering wheel is a GT Grant Carbon fiber wheel.
Other details:
New corbeua seats with JDM Seatbelt harnesses and corbeau shoulder pads. has a rugged ridge 8500lb winch with a 10,000lb 3/8 synthetic rope and cover, custom keg 15 gallon gas tank with new fuel pump! new injectors, Giant K&N Fiilter couple new sensors on the motor, fresh boat sides. new JVC CD player with auxiliary/usb ports.
Some minor bad things:
She leaks a little from the rear t-case output seal. barely enough to make the case wet. front driveline rattles due to its constantly spinning sense the front end runs drive flanges. rear end leaks aroung breather, needs to be siliconed around the little plate. it is licensed as a OHV.
Other than that it runs and cruises amazingly through the dirt and trails and will climb anything you point it at! i hate to sell it but need to move on to bigger n better things
