we wheeled snakes and and constrictor. i picked up 4 packs of cigaretts 2 water bottles and seen probly 10 beer cans, some old most of them new. i also drove past alot that i didnt have time to grab. i dont know if it was from rme members (probly not) or just random people.... it seems like every time i go i do more stopping to pick up garbage then i do wheeling. idk if its something i should be worrying about or not but it kinda gets on my nerves and also makes the trail AND people who wheel it look bad!!..... and i realize every once and a while something will get knocked out by your foot sliding in and out and not get noticed but i guess my main thing is to ask you all to grab trash while wheeling if you have the chance and to try your hardest to not leave any behind.

i figure if i start something regarding trash maybe more of it will get cleaned up!

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
I think if we all tied a garbage bag to the rear of our rigs while on the trail it would make all the difference. Just think if everyone that went on that night run filled a garbage bag, 54 bags of garbage would make that place shine.

I always pick up trash when I see it.

When I went this last weekend on the noob run, the only thing I found was a beer bottle, which we picked up. The groups ahead of me must have picked up more stuff. Then again, it was dark, and we didn't get out much, so I may have missed a lot of trash. I do know we were very clear to the noobs about the need to pick up trash, so that word was spread well.

And we were very clear on no beer that night and it seemed like everyone agreed on that 100% so hopefully it wasn't our RME group.

nothing sucks more than seeing a bunch of beer cans and cigarette butts on the trail. it pisses me off but i always have a garbage bag with me for that very reason. littering is stupid everywhere but on the trails and up snowboarding it makes me extra angry

I ended up with a beer bottle and a few cans on Sat. afternoon. I did let a liter liquor bottle and a cardboard pack of smokes get by me, though.

Shame on you! Did everything on the Jeep hold up, though?

Jeep is in pretty good shape. Broke a front drivers side spring pin, though. Creative use of a winch cable as a "trackbar" worked to get me onto the trailer. LOVE the 4:1 and the Detroit in the 14 bolt is quite satisfactory as well. You ready to head out in a couple weeks?

I was out there yesterday and I have to say, I didn't see anything that needed to be picked up:) Maybe I just missed it or wasn't looking, but in the past I have always returned with several cans and plastic bottles, but none yesterday, so a big THANKS to all who help clean up and those who pack it in and pack it out!!!!

I'm glad to see that you guys are cleaning the trail's as you wheel. When I had a rig to go wheeling with I always kept a box of trash bags with me to keep the trails clean also. Both of the clubs I was a member of (Baltimore 4 Wheelers, and Maryland Rock Raiders ) would hold trail clean up events regularly, at RaushCreek Offroad park , An George Washington National Forrest. To keep the trails clean/open so the Hippies didn't try to shut them down.

I grab stuff as I see it on any trail. Lucky me, I've managed to find some useful junk too. Including plastic ATV fenders that will be hacked for use on my Tote Gote...

I got a trasharoo yesterday. I'm excited to try it out and see how much I can fill it up at my next run. You can't be a glamper without a trasharoo
