Just found this bag. It's a pretty blatant copy of the giant loop but half the price. Local distributor too.

I checked out Tonkamans giant loop last night and that thing is awesome! This looks like a cheaper option but even from the pictures I can tell its not of the same quality. But at half the price Im thinking about it. Thanks for the link.

There are a couple reviews on advrider with really good details.

On a separate note, have we nailed down a route yet?

We have basic route courtesy of Expedition Utah. I have it laid out on several large topo maps. I think we should do a overnight test run out to delle or maybe from five mile down to black rock. I can bring the maps and we can all go over them together and highlight a few sections we want to deviate from. I think that most of the "fun" trails we will just find along the way though.

Sounds like a plan. Let's do it.

I think the pony express would suck on our bikes. We are running out of time tho...

Any of you other guys want to do an overnighter 4/26-4/27?

I'd love to but I work that Saturday. I rode the ttr from my house in pg out to Eagle mtn. Down to little moab, then over to the peak North of eureka, up to Pet to five mile then over to Saratoga Springs and back through Lehi. 100 miles and still have half a tank. I'm getting excited.

I haven't tested it yet so I can't say how well it will actually work. I have about $15 dollars in it so if it fails it's not a huge loss. If this trip is as fun as I think it's going to be, I'll invest in a better bag and pass this down to one of my kids.

I got my drz safety inspected yesterday so I will have a plate on it this week. I didn't have any plans of plating it until I picked up the crf but now the drz has been getting full adventure treatment.

Bikes are like golf clubs. You don't golf with a single club, why would a person only have one motorcycle?
