Thanks guys it's been a fun build, I'm very excited to get these axles in, I'm expecting a big improvement in steering with the high steer and the 4.10's should help a bit too:D As soon as My Jeep sells I'll be buying new tires and rims and then the axles can go in!

More progress, kind of:rofl:. While laying underneath running through my head all that will be needed for the axle swap I noticed the engine crossmember was cracked:eek: SOOO with the dana 60 with high steer going in soon that will need more clearance than the stocker allows and the obvious need for replacement I swapped it out for a nice new aftermarket one with provisions for a panhard bar:D took a little longer than expected but when in fairly easily, hopefully I can get the axles all swapped next weekend.

New wheels for the swap came friday too, 39 lbs. a piece and I ordered 5...the UPS guy hates me:rofl:

Got the 60 in today:D, almost, the high steer tie rod interferes with where the shocks go in the stock location so I'm going to have to relocate them to the top of the axle tube instead of behind:-\

What a differance the high steer made I can spin the wheel with one finger:eek:

Got the 14 bolt under it tonight, unfortunatly I opted to wait to do the shackle flip until later when I do the TBI conversion, since I have to drop the tank, the ubolts I have are too short with the blocks:sick: So it's on jack stands until tommorow.

yeeeeaah... I noticed that as well. Kinda freaked me out, since I installed a new PS box at the same time. I thought it was too loose. :D I need to get a stabilizer or hydro on there PDQ.

Next time I have to drop the tank I'm going to cut a hole in the floor, and use another Blazer floor to make a cover. I had to take off the rear bumper, the hitch, and drop a full tank when my pump went out. :(

I pulled it out of the driveway to spin it around to swap the rear , it will surely be something to get used too,

spent the weekend tieing up loos ends:-\

Pulled the degree shims out of the front wow what a differance no more wander:D Also swapped out the wimpy stock rear/rear shackles for some beefy ones from DIY4X.

Put new pads and rotors on the front but after a drive I'm still getting some noise so I'm thinking a power bleed is in order.

Other than that she's driving well, crossover steering eliminated all the bumpsteer I had before:D

Now I just need to wire the incab winch controller, wire the lights, plumb the OBA. And this winter I'll finish fabricating front shock mounts, axle side panhard bracket and build a cage:greg:

Hey Tacoma less than 2 months until Blazer Bash;)

I've got a set of the DIY rear shackles, holy crap are they beefy. I thought they sent me two sets, they were so heavy. You will not be bending them. :D I pretty much came down with all the Blazer's weight on one of them at MMP and it's just scratched. :D

Degree shims in the front are bad. :D Glad it helped.

I am working feverishly to get ready for the Bash. MUST NOT MISS IT!
