Well after a long hiatis, i got to work on the buggy again today:D Got the front drive shaft carrier bearing mounted up, but it was tight! Got my shifters and flor put back together. Then got my lincoln mark 8 fan wired up and it works. Pulled like a crazy mother too.

About time!

Are you back at this full time now?

Trying to get it movable to the house. Moving the next week or so. Just gotta bleed the brakes bolt in the seats and see if she drives:greg: Then finish up the smaller stuff at the house

The buggy moved under it's own power last night. It was pretty exciting!. Just need to wrap up a couple things before I take it around the block. Only minor stuff left like cleaning up some wires, over flow mounting. I have to get the axle side of my 2 piece driveshaft shortened. I already mounted the carrier bearing a couple weeks ago. Hope fully everything wrapped up enough for a month of testing before memorial day:D I already made reservations

Drove it around the block a couple times last night after welding up some little things and throwing in a set of harnesses. Drove pretty good. I'm still figuring out what gears are what though, and I don't think I have found 1 to 1 yet as I topped out at about 35-40 mpg. Buring off a lot of stuff off the engine also. Temps were good, I guess thats what oyu get for having an engine that hasn't been "driven" in about 2 years

Well yesterday, I took it out to little moab for a trial run. It was a little muddy and wet, but it cleared up enough to be a decent run. I had spent about 10 hours saturday just wrapping up some things like protecting and routing hoses, wires, etc and installing a rear suck down winch. Everything went really well, no problems except I bent the tabs/bolts for my front winch fairlead when I sucked it down really far once, and I lost the little shackle I had on the front axle for the winch cable. Other then that everything went great.

LOTS of POWER!!! I never bothered to air down the tires so they were still really inflated at about 25-30 psi. It went up everything I tried. I could smoke the tires pretty easily which was needed at the bigger waterfalls at the left side when you come in. Body roll seemed non existant, though I"m sure a rear sway bar would be nice for later. The stak 3 spd, is a little stiff but the 3x1 and 5x1 worked great. Need to get some limiting straps and finish wrapping the exhaust, plus skins. Oh yeah, I took my girlfriend out for the her first buggy expirience also, which went pretty well, but they really have no idea. So off to a good start on both accounts

Cool, cool. Congrats buddy. Get that thing dialed in and let's go out before I do something stupid with mine.
