Looks great. What hose did you used for the bottom of the radiator? Are you going to run any kind of skid up under your oil pan?

Sorry Bart could not find the receipt this whole week:-\ for the hose. I have been just pounding away at this thing for thanksgiving. But I cam to the conclusion there is just no way to have a moab ready rig in the time left I have which is a bummer, since I spent so much time the last 3 months. But I guess it's better work out as many bugs as I can in the shop like all the stupid stuff I'm doing right now. Just not worth it to brake down, with no run time.

Finally got everything sealed up coolant wise and filled her up, Stayed pretty cool until I started reving it then I had to shut it down and I pulled some hoses to find a big bubble. All my gauges work great so no worries;) Brakes are still being a *****, I used a vacuum bleeder the last couple days, but it seems slow going. I have never, had manaul brakes so I'm not sure how tight they should go so we will see. The front is way better then the rear, but the rear is always a hassle in my expirience. Driveshafts are supposed to be done tommorrow. Sway bar got jacked in shipping so thats a no go.

I was finally able to let the engine run today for about 20 minutes, but after I let it warm up and rev it, when it went back down to idle it would die. It would then start back up. I looked at the data stream and it idles about 550 which seems fine, but the fuel trim was the one weird reading. Bank one long term was about 5-6 % and bank 2 was 25% which was very high, maybe a stuck injector? Thats my next little project

That's too bad about Moab Kiel, get the bugs ironed out and make the trip when you're ready. Hope you get the EFI issues figured out, how's that 6.0 sound, nasty? I love how these LSX motors sound at high revs... :greg:

It does sound good. Even with the super trapp on it it sounds pretty quiet also. Yep just too many little stuff I need to finish instead of half ass to get there. Still coming, just gonna ride with Goat and the gang;) I bought a house also, so my priorities for winter have shifted at least for a little while:D

Thanks Greg. Yeah I am fixing it right now, it was a foreclosure and needs some basic work before I move in, maybe a month or so before it live-able. It has a 2.5 car garage in the back and a weird ghetto enclosed car port on the house so I'm good for garages. Good thing the buggy is pretty much finished money wise, because this thing is my new money pit.

Nice! I've been interested in the idea of buying a foreclosure, if we meet up in Moab you'll have to tell me more about how you did it. One project after another, good thing you're young! :D

Bummer Kiel, sorry to hear the buggy won't make it, but glad you will. I've thought several times about bagging it, but I'm still on track, so we'll see if I can make it. I have to get it running anyway so I'm giving it all I can. I'm in South Carolina until Thursday, then I'll work on it until Thaniksgiving if I have too.

I am sure there is no one who would like to see it on the trail more than you! It is super cool to hear about the house though, and just what you needed with all that extra cash you have laying around, lol.
I don't know if I have a passenger yet or not, but if I don't your welcome to ride with me. My 11 year old wants to come but I don't know if he's up to a three day trip or not.
So, any idea whats causing your fuel problem yet?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention in my last post, the house thing rocks, and in the grand scheme of things is much higher priority than the buggy. Big congrats.

Thanks guys, Yeah house does take a little priority, since I have to make the payment even though I'm not living there yet. i cleaned up the house of everything to get left this last week. Made a poor mans trampoline on my buggy trailer. I had 6 used matresses piled on top of eachother. I got going pretty high/ About normal trampoline high. I then thought about what kind of crazy things could be in a bunch of used matresses and stopped:ugh: As far as the buggy goes. Driveline are suppossed to be done here soon. No way they were going to make moab, plus build the mount for the pllow block. Oh yeah and Hi Bear, welcome to our domain;)
