I wanna see what you came up with for an upper rad hose. I'm using the stock one, but it doesn't fit very well and I'm worried about it pinching off. Are you using a stock trans tube or a Lokar? I can use my stock one, but need the rubber grommet for the trans side.

Good luck and keep it going. We're getting close.

I have a carquest right next to us, So I just kept running back and forth. The upper is a good fit it doesn't pinch but I will throw a spring inside just in case right off the water pump outlet. As far as dipsticks go I have a stock one, but it doesn't lock. But I do have a locking one for a 4l60E I'm going to try. Who needs a locking dipstick anyway right? -_- Bart and Marcus:rofl:

Well some good progress tonight! Filled the trans and t case and they both work like they are supposed too:cool: I was a little worried with my home rebuild and home cut output shaft. But so far so good. Installed my steering and trans cooler also.

Hey Kiel, you mentioned a few posts ago that you'd be putting a spring inside your radiator hose to keep it from kinking. Where do they sell those?

They have them in certain hoses. I have a carquest just 100 yards away from me and saw about 10 hoses that have them. I thought I would either buy one of them, or find out what they fit and hit the junk yard. Or I might just run down to 1800 radiator (J-MAC)

That's what I do... Just pull a spring out of another hose and put it in the one I am using. Never thought about hitting a hose place and seeing if they have it laying around in bulk. Hoses are cheap, I wonder if the spring alone is cheaper?

Well, I have been just slaving away every weekend trying to get it ready for thanksgiving. Man the small stuff sucks. Got the hoses pretty much done. i ended up just buying a third hose with a big ass spring it it and just usng the spring for the other 2 hoses. Got my gauges all wrapped up, and this weekend did my winch plate and my flat belly pan. Used UHMW on it also... UUUMMMMm smooth belly:D
