Looks good! Keep up the good work. Have you considered something smaller with a turbo?

No, thats not an option, small 4 cylinders w/ turbos don't have the torque curve I want, plus this is a 4 seater so the weight of a bigger v8 isn't really an issure

Got the font axle all broke down. I had to drill out the hub bolts and hammer those off. Then clean the crud out to get the gear parts out. The rotors and bearings came out pretty easy, but the bottom king pin plates took me about 3 hours because one of the bearing races was seized on the other side:mad2: Then today it took about 4 hours to get the stupid king pins out. After heating them up with a otrch about 10 times and pb blastin them. Then using a 7/8 lug nut and a huge pipe wrench and a BFH, finally got them out. King pins rule, but they suck to get out

HA!!! Fun, isn't it? My kingpins came out just fine, but they were the only thing that did. This current axle is winning, with the most corroded driver's side hub I hope to ever see.

Here is a picture of my crazy crusty hub. Took about 45 minutes to get it out. I knew my king pins were gonna be trouble when I tried to use a huge 1 inch impact and it didn't nothing

Plasmed some brackets for my rear 4 link today and installed my new front locker;) Also through my grill on it to give me some motivation and an idea of what it will look like. I got all my suspension joints this past week. Tubing and adapters will be here next week. :D

Been working on the rear suspension latley. Also finished a little tube work on the back that wasn't finished. Then took a page from goats build and cut down the front 60 spring perch, which was pretty cool how it just slid off.

Ummm,

I didn't know you had an X ......

Get this thing put together so we can go wheelin would ya?

I think you and Greg should race each other to see who can get done first :D I already know that the answer is "He with the most credit cards wins!" but it would still be fun to see and it might help keep you motivated. Besides who needs sleep?
You have an x?
