when all the trimming is finished i should have a 6" window and still have just enough for the bottom of the rear seat to fit.since the extra cab is really just for the dog thats enough for him .i'll put up a carpeted panel in the rear.cut the original inner panels for the sides.redo the headliner and find some comanche upper trim to finish it off

Looking good Badger. It'll be good to see your goofy *ss in a rig again:greg:

BTW. A-1 tear apart has two MJs in good shape at their yard.

which yard is that and do they allow power tools .i would like to snag another rear half.that way i could clip the bed and frame and finish from floor to roof with a full rear half.

so now i can just cut off the whole rear section and use the Comanche rear half to finish it back off.

lol But then it wouldn't have been free... Or a XMJ... ;)

I bet you could find one cheap, and buying body parts at junk yards and time spent sticking them together isn't free. I hate body work and I guess it shows. Cool build, sorry for the hijack. ;)

the comanche was a short door.it used the same front door as the 4 door.now take away an area to move a seat back to and i'm eating the dash.

now take a 2 door cherokee with a door that is 8~9" longer (true number escapes me) then a 4 door.now on top of that add another 12~14" in an extra cab.now i have a cab that will fit me ,a passenger, and my dog.

True.. There's an MJ in a car lot here for $500. Runs and drives ok, it says. I've thought about getting it for myself....
