the comanche was a short door.it used the same front door as the 4 door.now take away an area to move a seat back to and i'm eating the dash.

now take a 2 door cherokee with a door that is 8~9" longer (true number escapes me) then a 4 door.now on top of that add another 12~14" in an extra cab.now i have a cab that will fit me ,a passenger,and my dog.

I bet you could find one cheap, and buying body parts at junk yards and time spent sticking them together isn't free. I hate body work and I guess it shows. Cool build, sorry for the hijack.

my truck seems to be on the Oprah diet.it loses weight then puts it right back on

so now i need to remove the back axle and finish trimming up the cab and back of the Xj to make them match up.

more work this afternoon

the body lines are still a bit off

the cab half needs to come up about another 1" .so i need to clear out some more material on the inside

the floors almost line up.they are still spread some since i still have to clearance the outer and inner skin some.
