I'm building myself a family rig similar to jaydens but better 😆 .5.3, Whipple, th400, atlas4.3, 14 bolts with 05 knuckles, 40 spline. @BeepBeep fabricated us a baby boy (I helped). View attachment 173025i picked my axles up from the sandblaster yesterday.2005-2008 have stronger knuckles and inner cs. I have one 09 housing and one 05-08 housing. Ima put the stronger crap on the rear. I'd guess the strength difference is within 10%

05 inner C> kingpin inner ci got all my hubs drilled to standard 8x6.5Made some grease zerk plates to replace the ABS sensor holes. You can pump grease into the unit bearings here. I got my steering parts cut.My atlas showed up. I gonna get the axles done before i start the chassis.I got some diff covers cut and welded out today.

yes they are its too bad FoMoCo had to start making the knuckles in 09. They are quite a bit weaker.
