I think 1 looks like a pretty great deal but I'd want way more pics and details. It needs hydro assist and as you mentioned, maybe at least a front selectable. Locker upgrades aren't cheap but I wouldn't let that turn you away either if the rest of it checks out. LS power seems like it would be neato-freakin-poteeto.

I agree with Hickey... the YJ is too much $$$ for what it is and I love YJ's.

I don't even want to know anyone that puts production numbers in their for sale ads, let alone BUY something from them so the LJ is out IMO.

I think the last one looks like a pretty decent TJ but I don't like that price. To think of it being MORE than the first TJ is a little crazy but that's how it goes with modifications.

The first TJ has been for sale for a long while and I bet he'd take quite a bit less at this point. I'd pursue that one and then the last one if I was in your shoes.

Here are the additional pics I’ve received chatting with him. Also I’m told, of course he would pick the 14 bolt…not sure what that means

Why I keep you guys around. 3 is probably my favorite but least favorite price. 2 I was thinking was an okay deal.... but shows what I know.
LJ’s are sweet. If someone said I could have a free framed Jeep and I could pick I’d be battling between an LJ and a JT.

I’m not super excited about any of them.

x2 ...

Out of all of them, I'd choose #1 but there are some issues IMO. The rear ORI's have some pretty serious compromises with mounting and uptravel. The front CO's look beat... so you're going to spend time and money making it right. Makes me wonder what else is beat.

I'd take an LS swapped Jeep on Tons all day long over a 4.0 Jeep on factory axles. I'd avoid anything with a 350 or even that 401 if you want reliability. LS engines are simple, reliable and run cool... which really matters on the hard trails.

If it helps, when I needed an alternator on a Saturday in Price, UT on a holiday weekend, the local parts store had one in stock.

If I’m honest the only one I’m really interested in is the LJ. But not at the price point. Guess I’ll just keep watching the market.

Also recently found a property outside the valley we are interested in….. so depending on that…. This might be a pipe dream for now anyway

I’m a bit biased when it comes to LJs, but this one looks like a great option. At least on paper. I’m curious to the reasoning why it is way over priced? Assuming you could drive it to and from Moab today and run the trail of your choice, it seems like a fair price. You certainly couldn’t build it for that price.

Guess naivety? This is a market I’m not familiar with, and I’ve been out of the game awhile.

Also it’s been for sale for months, so a lot of others feel the same way? Or just not a lot of people in the market.
