The maximum operating angle of the 1350 joint is about as poor as you can get. You sacrifice a lot of operating angle by going with a 1350. Toyota joints are bitchen. Awesome operating angle, small size, and for some reason they don't break! Oh, and plenty of cheap junk yard parts. The only real expense is the axle flange.

I think the 1350 max is like 30*. I don't show any information on the 1410 in the Spicer catalog...

I may just have to switch over to 1410...;)

I was a little suprised by the size difference in this stuff and my hydro assist on the toyota.
But it should move the 40s just fine. :greg:

I am waiting on AA for the correct input shaft for the atlas. That will be about another 3 weeks. Until then, I still have to build the dash area, short shifter kit for the sm465, plumb everything, wire everything, order air shocks. after that, i'll put it all togeather to make sure everything fits, then I will pull it all apart it finish welding the chassis and send it off to be powdercoated. Then.... assemble it all again and wheel it. so I hope to have it in Moab around christmas for its shakedown run.

Well, I have not updated this thread for a while.... so here you go. Since the last update, I:
Installed the atlas
Installed driveshafts
Installed detroit in the 14 bolt.
Sold the 18" fox coilovers and bought 18" sway a way air shocks for the rear and 16" for the front.
Installed adjustable seat mounts, golve box, gauges, dash, pass oh sh!t bar, rear winch 2000# atv to suck down the rear. intalled front winch 6500# short drum.
So tomorrow is buggy tear down day where I get to take everything back apart so I that I can finish weld the chassis and prep it to be powercoated.
Anyone want to come help?
BTW... I have no new pictures because it is too dark. :/
