dual brake pedal set up

I just put 2 cnc masters next to eachother in my buggy. The purpose of 2 brakes is one for the front and one for the rear. Like line locks, to assist in front and rear digs by locking one set or the other.

Be careful what you get, some of those wilwood dual MC setups still have a single pedal that operates both MC's via a balance bar. They do that so you can have different MC bore sizes controlling the front and rear brakes and then you can further adjust the front/rear bias using the balance bar in the pedal assembly. That is road racing stuff.

You're best bet is just to get two pedal assemblies with one MC each and bolt them side by side like WJ ZUK said. Wilwood, CNC and Neal all make that sort of stuff and it is very popular with the sandrail crowd. That'll help your search.

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
Without looking to much, can you tie them together so they work as one? Like a backhoe? Or do you always have to step on both pedals to to get brakes front and rear?

I'm sure there is a way to fab a swing tab that would do this, but my pedals are close enough, it's really not a problem.

Someone on Pirate posted some pics of that a while back... something like two tabs on one of the pedals.... so you could use one by itself...

... but I like the idea of close pedals. :D

dual brake setup

Yea I am putting Rockwells under the buggy and I want to set it up to do front and rear digs, I have looked at the Wilwood brakes and I was hoping that someone actually made a dual setup. I guess that I will have to go with the Wilwood single master kits. Thanks again guys this site is great for getting good advice and lots of good options.
Thanks: JP:)

So is it cost effective to go the 2 pedal route or just do a cutting brake lever?

I imajine the wilwood stuff is spendy.

Any real world cost differences?

The cutting brake lever would be cheaper Cheston.
I'm personally going with the dual pedals because of packaging.
With a Stak and a rear steer joystick, the last thing I needed was another lever to operate.
