Roger that! I love this build. And big blocks.

Alright folks..... Pontiac excitement update. In the last few months the car has progressed well. The body is together and all of the panels are gapped and flat. All of the major shaping is done. We applied the last coat of spot primer readying the final sand. Next week, the car will go to the booth for a coat of sealant and then umpteen coats of color and clear! This car looks unbelievable! For the motor, I chose a 1968 428 block punched out 0.060", it swallowed 455 0.030 over pistons by TRW. The cam is incredibly lumpy and coupled with a 455 crank, PRW 1.5 roller rockers and the mildly ported 7K3 heads will net me near 11.5:1 compression and about 500 horsepower and 525ft/lbs of torque. The package totals out to nearly 462ci! I failed to snap some pictures today, but believe me the body color on the block and heads looks great with shiny Doug Thorly headers an aluminum intake and a demon 850cfm carb. Can't wait to see it all together. Pics coming later this week!

Here are some recent pics, but nothing within the last two weeks..... The last picture is the hood where the "beak" protrudes. Despite being a huge Pontiac fan, I have always hated the bump on the end. I decided to do a little rhinoplasty and shave it down. It is much more subtle and the radius follows the fenders.

Anyone but me really aroused right now? Theres a guy running around Kaysville with a red rag top and it is really cool as well. Its just stock with some Crager wheels on it and he has owned it since his high school days. He is my sisters age which puts him graduating in 1978 or 79.

Neat car, can't wait to see it with color on it.

Well, after months of cash consuming body work and prep, the F-bird is transiting to the paint booth. The motor is dressed and waiting on just a few small parts. Final assembly will commence after the paint is buffed to a mirror shine!!

That car with serious Indian power will be nothing short of awesome...

Congrats!!! I know it's cost some $, but it's done right and it'll be worth it.

just testing out the March system.... Since everything fits, we'll be dropping the motor in today.... Headers are way lower than expected. Looks like some mods are in order....
