So here are a few pics of my new 04 Limited Tundra when I picked it up.

Then I went up to Salt Lake yesterday and picked up this set of wheels and tires. They're not mud or all terrains but they had tons of tread and turns out they are an ice tire but looks like they would do good in the sand like some grabbers.

I took the truck in today to discount and got my 285/75-16 bfg km2's mounted up and installed on the new wheels. I said I would install them and then see if I needed any lift....I DO!! It rubs a lot, but only on the rear of the front wheel wells on the pinch seam. Doesn't rub anything else. I will do adjustable level lift and a small block in the back to get the truck up a little and away from the tires. Here it is how it sits now.

I'm happy with how it looks. Just need to get a little more height. Wondering if I should make or buy some sliders, mainly so my wife and dog can get in and out easily but who knows if it'll ever see off road. It's better to be prepared I guess.

I am looking for some sort of a 4 runner. I like the first gens but it's hard finding a 22re with a solid axle since you've only got one year to choose from. I would get a stock one and wheel it with a few mods til my wallet grew. My money tree in the back yard is starting to wilt because it is fall.

I have one for sale....v8, solid axle....perfect!

I picked up my adjustable struts and rear blocks with new u bolts today from low range. Hopefully I can get it installed tomorrow morning and that everything goes smoothly. There always seems to be a hang up for every job.

Finally got my level lift installed. It included a set of new adjustable struts for the front. I still need to install my 7/8" blocks in the rear to give it a little more aggressive stance. I'm pretty happy with where it's at so far though.

I think Km2s are one of the best looking tires out there, but I think I prefer the look of those yokohamas. I'll have to see it in person, because pictures never do justice. Maybe once the tires are dirty and not shiny... :) The level looks realy good. What's the wheelbase and weight of that thing?

The tires on the truck are not yokohamas. They are 285 75-16 km2's The yoko's are just sitting in the garage. But I'm sure you already knew that. The wheelbase looks to be around 140.5", so pretty dang long, the lowest part of the crossmember is only at 15".

I actually thought they were pretty sweet but wanted a little beefier look and thos it tired would wear out pretty fast since the temps are still up. I might throw them on at one point. They're on the stock wheels at the moment.

I picked up my new rig today. I was somewhat patient and I found a '92 4 runner with the 22re, manual, rebuilt motor, newer clutch, near mint condition, perfect interior, 2 small dents exterior, no rust, 181k miles. Even the ac and the back window work. :D Not sure what I'm going to do with it but there will be some changes as money permits. Here are a few pics. Oh, and I picked it up for a song!!

I finally finished my lift on the tundra tonight. All I had left to do was install the aluminum blocks in the rear. It took me about 20 minutes to do both sides. I'll post some pics of it tomorrow. I like the stance. It just sat a little too low if there was anything in the bed or if I had my trailer hooked up. I plan on getting some air bags sometime in the future like I had on my last Tundra. They worked awesome for the heavy loads.

I still haven't done anything to the 92 4Runner except put the 33" geolanders on it. They don't rub at all, even flexed out, which isn't much!

I tried taking some earlier but it got windy and dusty at my house. By the time I tried taking pics I needed the flash and with the dust in the air they were too blurry. Ill try again tomorrow.
